What is a SIM Free Phone? A SIM free phone is an unlocked device that is not tied to any specific network or carrier. This means you can use it with any SIM card from any network provider of your choice.
International Version Please note that all phones we sell are international versions. While we ensure all devices are fully compatible and authentic, packaging or included accessories might differ slightly due to regional variations. Please rest assured that all products we sell are brand new, original, and sealed in retail boxes.
Network Compatibility As our phones are international versions, certain carrier-specific features may not be supported, such as Samsung Pay or ECG functions depending on your region. We recommend checking your local network compatibility before purchasing.
Language Settings The language on all our devices can be switched to English in the settings and works exactly the same as a UK model.
Any Questions? If you have any questions about compatibility or network support for a specific device, please do not hesitate to contact us at contact@techinthebasket.com.

I have purchased my Xiaomi Mi9T in 2019. Only a few months later I noticed that the pictures were faulty and addressed the issue to the Customer Support. The company failed to provide the invoice with all the details like the address, email, phone, registration, etc. upon my request. The company failed to provide the prepaid label for the repairs, and after I paid for the postage, refused to refund it. The repairs took 5 weeks, but the phone was returned with the same fault, and in spite of my daily emails for the following three weeks, no explanation of what they actually fixed, followed. The day after the phone was returned to me, I reported the problem again, and they told me to post the phone back to them for another repairs, and to pay the postage myself.
The company does not comply with their advertised terms of sale and after-sales service. For example, on the website they promise to repair the item, or replace it if the repair is not possible, or issue the refund. But in fact it never happens. I tried to get the contact of the Finance Department or anyone in charge, but my inquiries have been ignored.
There are three names who reply my emails for the last three months without actually answering my questions or taking any action: Jessie, Miriam and Walter. After the period of 6 months I can not register my complaint and withdraw my money via Paypal, and the company representative Walter just emailed me that they won't do the repairs because my 12 months warranty is about to expire (after 10.5 months). It's the worst service I've ever received. My Paypal transaction has got the name of IDS (Hong Kong) Company Ltd, Techinthebasket as the seller. And judging by the info given on UKgov website Techinthebasket/IDS (Hong Kong) Company Ltd has a zero employees, no email, no phone, and no profit. Xiaomi customer support advised that Techinthebasket is not an authorized re-seller, so they won't accept the phone for the repairs. AVOID!
